Anna Maria Island Fishing Report — July 2026
The bite around Anna Maria Island has shifted into that classic summer pattern — the fish haven't gone anywhere, they've just gone deeper. With Tampa Bay running warm, in the upper 80s, mangrove snapper are stacked up in 20 to 30 feet of water, and it's not unusual to fill a limit in an afternoon on a nearshore trip. Spotted seatrout have followed the same logic, holding on deeper flats and structure in 10 to 15 feet along the beaches and bays — plenty sitting on the smaller
