AMI Fishing Report | Feb. 12, 2017

We went out this morning, the water incredibly calm after the winds we had for the past few days and boy was the sheepshead bite on! We jigged with live shrimp (3/8 oz. jig head) and could hardly keep them off the hook and even got several on the fly using crab fly patterns. For fly fishing, I recommend throwing on a small split shot or using a crab with heavier beads to keep the fly down along the bottom.
