(via TripAdvisor) We recently visited Anna Maria Island as a group of 6 celebrating a friends 50th birthday.
As a surprise we booked the "Fun Run" trip with Capt. Scott, and what a trip it was. We were collected from our canal side property and taken on a 6 hour tour around the intracoastal waterway, stopping at a sandbar and a water side restaurant amongst other things.
The day out ended perfectly when, on the way back to our property, Capt. Scott located a small school of dolphins and cruised at just the right speed for the dolphins to play in our wake, jumping completely out of the water on a number of occasions, the perfect end to a perfect day.
Thank you Capt. Scott, your knowledge of the area is second to none and you provided us with the most amazing birthday surprise for our friend.
If you are looking for a day out to remember whilst in the Anna Maria Island area, then look no further, Capt. Scott is your man.

(via TripAdvisor) My family and I traveled to Anna Maria Island with some friends. We split up for a few days just to partake in family activities of our own, and we chose to go out with Captain Scott and AMI Charters on a 4 hour family tour after being recommended by locally. Captain Scott was personable and great with the kids as he took us out to Egmont Key to explore and lay on the beach. We had an absolute blast and got to experience parts of the area that we wouldn't have been able to without a boat. We told our friends to book with him too on another day but he was already booked.
Will definitely go out again with Scott and AMI Charters on our next visit to the area!
